"Thunder" - Boys Like Girls

I’m not a huge BLG fan, but I saw them last summer for a radio show. They were the last band of the night and Thunder was the next to last song they played. What makes this song so special to me and what makes it mean so much to me for summer is that I danced with my now best friend to that song that night. We had met earlier in that day and started talking, and when the song came on he asked me to dance. It was in no way romantic, and neither are we, but we’re very close friends and that was a very good moment for me. We’ve made a pact to dance to, “Thunder,” every July 3, every summer, every year. We’ve made a pact to find some way, some how, to hold true to what has now become our song.
