To honor the death of a beloved musical icon, I have decided this week’s Summer Music Saturday will be a Michael Jackson song. I know you’ve heard it all already, but MJ was a top notch performer, one of the best dancers ever, and a brilliant musician. As Justin Timberlake said, “We have lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only Pop music, but of all music.” Although this is the end of an era, MJ’s spirit, music and icon will always live on in the hearts of the fans, and in Americana. If any of you think I shouldn’t be mourning a “child molestor” please unfollow me. He was found innocent, and I truly believe that he never harmed any of those boys. So here you go, MJ. One of the many, many tributes in your honor. My favorite song of yours. Rest in Peace. 1958 - 2009. ♥
